Istion Luxury Yachts

Montenegro, a luxury charter destination

Montenegro is fast becoming the 'in' destination for yacht charters in the southern Adriatic with amazing mountain scenery, a rich history and crystal clear waters for relaxing swims! With only 300kms of coastline Montenegro is perfect for a relatively short break or can be easily added to longer trips that include northern neighbor Croatia. Istion is pleased to have a permanent fleet in Montenegro and Croatia where our local crews are eager to show off the local sights and sounds of a truly beautiful region!

Kotor, the most beautiful bay in the world?

The amazing Bay of Kotor is surrounded by stunning mountains rising well over 1000 meters, a truly awe inspiring sight. The medieval city of Kotor, a UNESCO world heritage site, offers endless opportunities to explore its narrow streets and small squares steeped in rich history. The city walls (all 4.5kms of them!) are in fantastic shape and the city is full of important churches, museums and other places of historical interest.

Porto Montenegro, the Monaco of the east Mediterranean

Porto Montenegro is a luxury yacht marina built in the city of Tivat with all the amenities and service one would expect in a newly built, state of the art marina. The marina area includes luxury residences, retail shopping opportunities (luxury brands are the norm), fine restaurants, bars and other entertainment opportunities. While not as quiet and laid back as some of the other location in Montenegro, if you are looking for some great nightlife and a bit of celebrity spotting Porto Montenegro is the place to be!

Budva & Sveti Stefan, a picture perfect peninsula

Sveti Stefan is rightly be considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic Sea. The town itself is built on a small peninsula and was renovated in the 1950's into a luxury resort. It was chosen for the amazing sand peaches on either side of the land leading out to the resort. Fine sand, crystal clear blue waters and almost year round sunshine, what more could one want for a luxury resort? Yachters can anchor overnight or visit as a day trip from Budva which is just four nautical miles away and is considered the center of Montenegrin tourism with its 2500 years of history, amazing old town and popular beaches.
