Guest Impressions

This was our 10year wedding anniversary trip. We were married on the island of Hydra 5/22/2008. That trip is what Fairytales are made of. However, this trip by far exceeds what we ever expected. The crew of Project Steel went above ‘beyond to make our anniversary trip a very special romantic occasion as they helped to recreate our wedding day! They became our wedding party! What a wonderful day! Captain John totally earned our respect* trust as he navigated our journey through the most scenic, historic and beautiful locations in Greece! Peter and Thomas were the Captains right & left hands, they made us feel safe and the journey smooth and totally loved their smiles! Chef Myrto is an amazing, talented, creative, Michelin chef ad she uses her culinary skills to please any skeptical palate and she will keep you fat and happy haha! She could easily sell her own cookbook! Thank you all for this amazing experience!

Dearest team Nova, reading the pages of this book proves that you are more than professionals. It is crystal clear that you treat all of your guests like royalty and it is so appreciated! Our week with you was unforgettable. The memories of private anchorings in caves that aren’t on any maps combined with the most beautifully presented and delicious cuisine will never fade! Sailing on the magical Nova lead by her admiral was amazing and transported all of us from our daily routine to a place where we could just be. You will all forever be in our hearts and a put of our extended family! Much love and appreciation.

Thank you for a fantastic week onboard Moya! This week has been filled with excitement from swimming in the deep blue waters to eating amazing food! I appreciate everything that you guys have done to make this one of the best weeks of my life! We couldn’t have asked for a better time, better scenery or better crew! Ports were phenomenal, we loved seeing such beautiful islands and cities. We look forward to coming back soon!

Lesson learned! We have always resisted getting a crewed charter because we have always preferred to sail ourselves – not because we are the words best sailors but because we worried about spending so long with strangers. We were wrong! Captain was very calm and always very cheerful and patient. Mary is the most wonderful hostess, a fabulous cook and so good at taking care of the youngest passenger Henry aged 9. We were very relaxed and can honestly say that we could not have been looked after better by so staff! The attention to detail has been outstanding. We hope to see you again!

Thank you for the wonderful days spent on Malena sailing around the Ionian islands. We have spent beautiful days relaxing and sunbathing. The boat is very well equipped and we have been in magical places with captain who is a very skillful sailor. Our hostess was wonderful and a kind person. She has taken care of us cleaning and cooking very well. She is also a great chef as she prepared delicious dishes during our trip! We hope to come back for another magnificent Greek experience with you again and we wish you good luck!

I think I can speak for everyone when I say this was the best holiday we have ever had. All the staff could not have been more attentive, sweet, polite and on point. The beautiful yacht was the most luxurious with more than enough space for our group of twelve. We will be talking about the adventures that came with being on this boat and to all the picturesque swimming spots, beached and caves! We all love and appreciate you guys and thank you so much for putting up with our crazy crew. We will be recommending the crew, captain and Project runway to literally EVERYONE. We have all the best part exploded over social media anyway so it speaks for extent. We love you long time Ps..the food word class!

 Thank you for the most amazing week in Cyclades! A perfectly planned route of all the best bays, sandy beached, delicious meals and wonderful company. Our adventure with you was absolutely perfect. We wish you all the best and hope to see you in Vancouver. We would love to share another adventure with you!

Nadamas our beautiful yacht with captain and cook who provided a service that should go down in the book. Kosta the captain plotted the best course that provided great shelter when the winds were in force and he was always pleasant and happy to assist. When he gave orders it was hard to resist and the cook was fantastic, always on call and she pleased us all..and now it time to say antio ( goodbye in Greek) to 2 fantastic people!

First of all, I am very proud to say that we were the first to “try” Project Steel, Captain John and his amazing crew three years ago, when my husband told me that we were going to spend a week on a yacht, I was not very enthusiastic. Indeed, I come from a sailing background, I used to visit the Cyclades with my family on my parents sailing boat with my father as a skipper and my mum as a cook. So, to go on a yacht with a whole crew was a big jump! I enjoyed so much my first trip with Project Steel that I took the risk to bring my parents with us this time. And that was a real gamble! But it seems it was a great success! If I took the risk it is because of the boat sturdy, not too fast, not too noisy, not using too much fuel, the closest as you can get to a sailing boat. But most of all we took the risk because of captain John and his amazing crew! Captain John is also from a sailing background. He has a real respect from mother nature and a real love of the sea. And he is clever enough to choose a fantastic team! Antony is amazing! He was a very good cook 3 years ago but now he really is impressive! Elina, Mirto and Efi were very professional, caring efficient, nice and discrete. Nik and Thomas were very helpful with all the watersports and always enthusiastic! Again, we had an amazing time!
