About Istion Luxury Yachts
Istion Yachting was founded in 1992 in Kos Island by Ioannis Kourounis starting with a small fleet of sailing yachts for bareboat and skippered charters. Istion has since grown to be a market leader in the Greek yachting industry with main bases throughout Greece and since 2023 also in Croatia.
Istion Luxury Yachts was created to serve the increasing demand for luxury charters with fully crewed and captained boats. Our crewed fleet is now the largest in Greece and we are proud of our ability to provide tailor made sailing holidays in Greece with the highest standard of luxury and privacy to our esteemed clientele worldwide.
A sizable force of returning customers from all over the world and a large network of credible charter brokers and agents worldwide entrust us every year with their sailing holidays accounting for over 1500 boat bookings annually.
Our fleet continues to grow as more and more yacht Owners entrust their quality crewed luxury yachts with us because of our successful charter marketing and trustworthy charter brokerage services.

Istion presence in Greece spans from chartering luxury crewed yachts to offering a fleet of over 100 yachts for bareboat charters, organizing the unique Catamarans Cup International Regatta for cruising catamarans and operating our internationally accredited Istion Yachting Academy - a Royal Yachting Association recognized training center.
